A WHOLE NEW WAY TO MOVE

Little sheet.
Big transformation.

Meet Miura. A paper landscape that opens in two directions.
Start folded. Pull it flat. Find your favorite in-between.

Take your pattern with you

Same facets. Same creases. Your current pose.

SVG prints at actual size on A4 landscape, with a 20 mm scale check. FOLD contains both the flat pattern and the displayed 3D pose.

WHY IT MOVES

One sheet, connected all the way

Miura’s repeating parallelograms keep their sides and diagonals unchanged. Moving one fold changes the whole sheet’s shape. This model uses an exact, bounded geometric path with shared hinges.

Positive, non-overlapping projection cells rule out intersections for this ideal zero-thickness model over the supported path. A numerical rigidity check runs on every update. This is not a general origami validator.

BEFORE YOU FOLD

A study, with honest edges

The sheet has a zigzag outer edge, so it needs trimming. The fold slider shows geometric motion, not a practical step-by-step sequence. We stop short of the fully collapsed singular pose.

Paper thickness, durability, hand-folding difficulty, and physical results have not been tested. Miura is a classic pattern, not a new invention or AI-generated design.
